Earth & Sky Yoga Retreat
Vinyasa & Aerial Yoga
with Naomi Schiller
Puerto Escondido, Mexico
March 8-15, 2025
Get ready to deepen your yoga practice on the mat, to then explore brand new heights by taking your yoga journey into the air! During the Earth and Sky Yoga Retreat we will explore deep muscle activation and breath integration techniques that will provide the foundation of stability needed to defy gravity. We will explore inversion practices on the ground, and then take flight in the Yoga Hammocks! All Aerial Yoga classes are 100% beginner friendly, zero previous experience required. We will also conclude each day’s practice with a weightless Savasana and guided meditation in the hammocks.

Each morning we will begin the day with a Vinyasa Flow style yoga practice on the ground, incorporating a workshop style component at the end of each class to explore specific technical practices like inversions and arm balancing.
Each afternoon class we will explore Aerial Yoga in the Hammocks! This will be a beginner friendly intro to Aerial Yoga, zero experience necessary. Each class will conclude with a relaxing floating savasana and guided meditation while suspended in the hammocks.
The rest of our time can be spent eating amazing, healthy food, swimming in the warm river and ocean, reading in hammocks, and breathing the tropical air.

About Your Teacher, Naomi Schiller

My love of movement began at the early age of three, when I tried to run onto the stage during a production of The Nutcracker. My mother enrolled me in ballet classes the very next day! This sparked my lifelong journey of artistic expression through dance and many other forms of physical movement. I discovered yoga while healing from an injury that had ended my ballet career, and through the practice of yoga I discovered an even deeper, spiritual layer of my movement practice. The mindfulness, emotional, and spiritual healing modalities that I learned in yoga inspired me to share my journey with others through teaching.
I became a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2012, and gained an additional RYT certification in 2013 through Uptown Yoga’s TT, as well as many continuing education workshops and trainings from Sean Corn, Patrick Beach, Acro Yoga, and many more. I love to incorporate my dance background into my yoga classes through carefully choreographed sequences, emphasizing alignment and muscle activation techniques, as well as exploring a meditative and mindful approach to each movement and breath. I also believe that exercise should be fun! This pursuit of joy through movement has led me to discover a new passion in circus arts. When not on my yoga mat you can find me spinning through the air on a metal hoop, or reading a good book while snuggling my two kitties.

Student Testimonials
“ Naomi has such a special gift in leading people into a state of calmness and inner peace. I first got to experience her soothing voice and tranquil presence during a yoga class in 2021, I liked it so much that I bought a membership at that studio the following month, I just wanted to keep coming back to the feeling Naomi helped me unlock deep within myself. She has so much knowledge of the human body and how each seemingly insignificant part plays a vital role in our overall wellbeing. She is able to lead both a powerful vinyasa practice and a relaxing meditation class. I highly recommend Naomi as a yoga teacher and a soulful guide to anyone looking to get more in touch with themselves!”
– Yuliya Dyrdyra
My yoga practice over the past dozen years has given me a deep look into many studios in Dallas along with studios in several other parts of our country. As a curious student my practice has benefited from gifted & experienced instructors thanks to both scheduled class sessions as well as private.
My time on the mat when Naomi Schiller is teaching has deepened my practice in many ways. Her energy, enthusiasm, contiguous smile, and articulation for each pose is amazing. Simply put – she just has a way to allow space for a student to advance their practice while making the journey pure fun!Andy Smith
“Naomi Schiller is by some distance the best mind-body guide I have yet encountered in almost six decades spanning five continents, collision sport and coaching at professional levels, including international rugby, several fighting disciplines, group and one-on-one yoga, and rehabilitation.
Why?
She cares about every little and big thing: the art, the words, the client, space, music, inner health, the arc, your capabilities and life. There were times Naomi saw me at my absolute worst, and then in triumphs. She never deviated in her excellence or focus, but first, she took care of us, of me, of herself, and our good practice. I learned from her; she from me. I may have been in one of her first classes so I saw her grow in confidence and peace.
Naomi is a wise and generous teacher.”
-Harry Jones
“ Naomi is truly a special yoga teacher. Her kindness and friendliness create a welcoming atmosphere in every class. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about yoga, but she also excels in teaching, training, and strength coaching. Naomi has an amazing ability to sense the room and intuitively know when to push us harder or when to ease up, ensuring everyone gets the most out of each session. Her expertise and passion shine through in every class, making yoga with her the highlight of my week. No matter how down or depressed I am entering the studio, I always leave feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and optimistic. Because she is both a teacher and a friend, I know that being around Naomi for any period of time can brighten anyone’s day.”

What People Are Saying About Casa Chango Mexico:

For years I fantasied about leaving my daily reality to go train circus all day while living in community, being in the sunshine and not have to worry about food. I had that all with Sweet Retreats. I just completed a month of high class training, incredible food, sisterhood, dance, nature adventures & so much more that cannot be put into words.
The coaches are the real deal and trust me when I say you will be taken with the utmost care not just physically and in regards to your circus goals, but emotionally and even spiritually if you desire. It’s a circus experience for you that can truly be transformative, healing or intensely physical. The experience is crafted by you, held by an array of extremely qualified and caring professionals who are passionate about self expression, play & community.
If you are thinking about attending one or are on the fence trust me when I say you should absolutely invest in yourself. I cannot recommend Sweet Retreats enough. You’ll grow as a circus artist and person in ways that you can’t imagine.

I truly don’t have enough words to describe how positive this experience was for me. I came to Sweet Retreats hoping to gain strength and endurance on the silks as well as improve my flow and sequencing in the air. I ended up leaving with so much more than that! Not only did I make substantial progress toward my goals, but I left feeling intrinsically connected to the art of aerial, dance, expression, and creation. Kerri creates such a special environment that nurtures growth and liberation, and that truly allows you to come into your own as an artist. I discovered that through being immersed in this incredible community, the aerial classes, the silliness, the improvisation and creative exercises, I unmasked a confidence to explore my art and express myself in a way that felt healing and inspiring. This was a invaluable gift from this experience that I will hold on to forever.
I could not recommend this special place enough for anyone who wants to feel the magic of circus and community.
Kristine Westergard

Sweet Retreats was so much more than I expected! I knew it was going to be an amazing experience, full of friends, circus arts and nature, but where they also really went above and beyond was the retreat center and the food and hospitality! Such a comfortable space for relaxing and enjoying the views. We had options for Eco-adventure excursions throughout the week! This place is a must see because they hit all aspects of a retreat and learning experience at a top tier!
