Note about COVID 19
Read our full COVID Policy here.
It is our first priority to make the residency program safe, fun and sustainable, and create a haven for people to feel healthy, active, and productive during this time. We are taking this global situation very seriously, and are enforcing extra safety policies for residency 2021.
- As long as COVID is an issue, our 2021 residency program is a ‘Quarantine in Paradise’ experience. This means residents will not leave the complex except for social distancing walks to the beach, trips to the river, and a few safe outings.
- All meals and food will be provided.
- Our gym and community areas are open air, so we have plenty of air flow, space and sunshine. We have nature on our side, and a swimming pool!
- These rules will update according to the state of the pandemic at any given time.
New arrivals
- Upon arrival residents will go through a 2 week period of social distancing quarantine from the rest of the residents and staff.
- During this time we will all act as if one of the residents has been exposed to the virus. You may be asked to wear a mask during community gatherings and classes.
- Meals will be served in the quarantine in paradise social distancing eating location around the swimming pool outside. It’s awesome!
- The new arrivals must keep 6 feet distance from each other at all times during this 2 weeks.
- During the first week, there will be small group classes designed to ease students back into the aerial training safely.
- Each person will be assigned their own apparatus, and classes will be kept small. Students are required to wear a mask.
- After the 2 weeks, providing there are no signs of coronavirus, full course curriculum class schedule will begin, and all residents can feel free to interact normally.
- No late arrivals. Everyone must arrive on January 16 or 17, 2021. It is of utmost importance that we provide a safe, healthy space for our residents to live, train, and thrive without possible exposure to COVID.
Aerials. My main driving force to get here—I knew without aerials I would struggle physically and mentally in lockdown. Kerri is the most amazing coach—She encourages everyone to live in their own body, and recognises the strengths and limitations of each person, with no judgement, and a clear focus of how to help you meet your goals. Teaching here is not one-size-fits-all: Kerri tailors training to the individual.
Sallie Chedburn – June 2020
I have already made so much progress in my aerial practice.
I feel confident in exploring new pathways and movements with my body.
I am developing a sense of musicality and performance.
I am starting to break bad habits.
I feel as though I am on the pathway to becoming an artist .

“Kerri’s Aerial Artistry Retreat gave me more than I could’ve imagined. We challenged our bodies, mind, and our spirit…allowing you to enter a deeper part of yourself, one that you usually avoid facing. It taught me how to connect with the audience, how to express myself in my movements and how to tell a story through my work.
Josephine Reyes, Miami, FL 2016
Such an adventure, an awakening experience I will hold close to me forever.
Kerri, you have a huge heart and a beautifully creative mind. Your process was genius.

About your teachers

Kerri Kresinski – silks, rope, flexibility, artistry
Kerri has been performing and teaching acrobatics, dance, and aerial arts for over 20 years. Her life’s work, as an artist and teacher, has been to develop and deepen her study of the body—physically, emotionally and spiritually. She has learned that anything is possible with patience, discipline and a positive attitude. She is truly a unique performer, engaging, thrilling, and moving audiences with her skills, style, and heart.
Kerri teaches her students how to own their practice. Focusing on fundamental elements of technique, anatomy, and the physics of movement, her students learn how to train. Kerri goes beyond teaching skills and sequences. She teaches how to identify, alter, and create your own skills and sequences, and best of all how to fully embody the movement of each skill in the most satisfying way for the doer and the viewer. Technique, balance, stability, mobility, movement pathways, creativity, 360 degree movement, musicality, originality, intentional movement, elements of surprise and awe, and a deep connection to humanity is what you will get if you work with Kerri. She is truly one of a kind.
Kerri’s technical expertise comes from working with students of all ages, shapes, sizes, and challenges. Kerri’s knowledge of anatomy, physics, injury prevention, creative problem solving, and realistic goal setting makes her one of the most masterful coaches of her time.
You can find Kerri’s performance videos here and Circus Fit free online tutorial videos here. Check her out on Instagram here.

Kalina Suter – dance trapeze, flexibility
Kalina is a dance trapeze and flexibility coach who guides artists and movers to unearth their creative style. She took up circus arts in 2009 in Edinburgh, Scotland, which led her to study at both the Rogelio Rivel Circus School in Barcelona and the New England Center for Circus Arts, where she specialised in dance trapeze and flexibility. Kalina developed her own approach to dance trapeze, born from a desire to feel free and organic in her movement – her primary objective as an artist is to feel like a seal swimming through seaweed. She has spent the last 5 years traveling, teaching, and performing in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, UK, and throughout Europe.
She currently lives in Edinburgh, Scotland and spends her spare time obsessed with collecting dead leaves and then having them tattooed on her body.
You can find Kalina’s Instagram page here.

“Kerri imbues her classes with a really sweet combination of focused work, zany playfulness, and an earthy and body-positive sensuality. I walked away from my time as Kerri’s student more capable, skilled, and excited not just about aerial, but about the journey to reaching my goals. I typically have given myself a hard time about a number of things in life. Kerri is skilled and optimistic, is genuinely there for you, and 100% rooting for you. She knows the value of the hard or ugly work, but she knows how to do it in a way that is fun and full of compassion for yourself and your journey. I truly appreciate this woman and friend, and I now know that my time was a workshop on many levels.”

Kerri’s aerial artistry workshop was soooooo rewarding! Kerri creates a welcoming, encouraging environment just by being herself, and in turn I was able to let myself be more free, more silly, more open, more EVERYTHING. Just MORE.
