Weightless : Breath, Movement & Object Manipulation
Build the strength you need for any aerial apparatus using straps as a powerful conditioning tool.
January 5-7 at 10am-1pm
Weightless is a three-day workshop that brings together breath work, movement, and object manipulation. You’ll learn how to use your breath to release tension, find ease in your body, and move with more fluidity and presence. Through guided practice, you’ll explore flow, playful technique, and ways to connect your breath to your body language, with or without a partner or a juggling object. You’ll leave with new tools, a stronger mind-body connection, and a practice you can keep practicing on your own.
We’ll explore group choruses, cementite movement and spatial awareness.
Prerequisites:
No prior experience needed. All levels welcome.
What to bring:
comfortable clothing you can move in, a water bottle, and a yoga mat or towel.
Your own props (optional): if you have poi, a staff, or a contact ball, bring them. If not, we will provide some to share.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to implement breath work into their daily life and movement practice. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced mover, you’ll leave with simple, practical tools you can use at home, at work, or in your own movement practice. No dance, flow arts, or breathwork background needed.

About your Coach
Basile Pucek is a Canadian and French artist, born in Montreal, a vibrant and inspiring city that nurtures his artistic growth. His education has been shaped over the years by the supportive influence of his family, friends, and most importantly, through his training at the National Circus School of Montreal. This prestigious institution ignited in him a deep passion for the art of movement and physical expression. Graduated, Basile collaborated with numerous companies, bringing his talent to a variety of projects.
Whether for performances, private events, or workshops, he has worked under the direction of artistic creators with diverse visions, enriching his universe along the way. Driven by a constant desire for self-improvement, Basile forges his artistic identity through the experiences he undertakes. His many decisive travels further develop his sensitivity to the world and the elements around him. Guided by values such as analysis, innovation, planning, and sharing, he’s committed to bringing a positive contribution to the world. These principles steer him through every stage of his artistic and personal journey.

Cancel more than 60 days before 1st day of retreat: 50% of your tuition paid can transfer toward a future Sweet Retreat within 18 months of cancellation.
Cancel 30-60 days before the 1st day of retreat: 25% of your tuition paid can transfer toward a future Sweet Retreat within 18 months of cancellation.
Cancellations up to 30 days before the 1st day of the retreat will not be credited or refunded for any reason.
At the time of payment for your retreat, we strongly advise purchasing a travel insurance policy. Make sure your policy covers the full cost of the retreat fee, as well as unexpected cancellation, trip delay, losses and other risks.
