Bring your Significant Others, Family, & Friends

We welcome friends, family, and significant others at most of our retreats.
Your friend, significant other, parent, sibling can join you at the retreat, but not take classes.
Here’s how it works.

While you are in class, your PLUS ONE can do whatever they want including:

  • Work remotely (we have great internet) in our paradise dining area, lounge or in their room.
  • Relax by the pool, in hammocks, nap, read, etc.
  • Get off property (See this page for more details.)
    • Go to the beach, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, etc.
    • Cultural adventures or tours of the local markets, artisans, cooking classes, etc.
    • Take a day trip to Mazunte, Zipolite, or other towns nearby.
    • Play golf, tennis, volleyball, etc at one of the nearby locations.
    • Go to a fitness, salsa dance, or yoga class in town to get a feel of the local fitness vibe.

What’s included: 

  • Ground transportation from the Puerto Escondido Airport (PXM) to Casa Chango if PLUS ONEs arrive to PXM on the specific arrival/departure dates listed for that retreat.

  • Daily cleaning service. 
  • 3 nourishing meals a day in our beautiful open-air kitchen. Click here to learn more about meals.
    • Breakfast: 7:30-9:30am
    • Lunch: 1-1:45pm
    • Afternoon treat & ice coffee: 3:30pm
    • Dinner & Dessert: 7-7:45pm
  • Use of all community areas:
    • Swimming pool & hot tub
    • Private hiking trail down to the Colotepec River 
    • Lounge with couches, books & a movie projector 
    • Kitchen & dining area
    • Amazing 2000 square foot open-air Circus Gym (when classes are not in session)
    • Dance/Yoga studio
    • Hammocks for lounging
  • Excursions included in the retreat (trips to the beach, night market, baby turtle release)
  • Recommendations and guidance to enjoy all that Puerto Escondido has to offer. Beaches, nature excursions, tours, surf lessons, networking events, dance classes, and so much more.  Click here for an idea of what you have to look forward to. 
  • High Speed Starlink Internet
  • Access to our network of Spanish teachers who provide private or group classes on-site.
  • Access to our on-site massage space and network of body-work practitioners for hire who come on-site.

There are 2 options for accommodations.

1. Share your room with your PLUS ONE

Book a private room for yourself for the retreat. Your significant other can join you, sharing your room/bed and enjoy all of the amenities of the retreat except for classes. The cost for your significant other is $800 USD.

Just fill out the registration form for the retreat you want to participate in. Have your SO fill out this significant other application.

2. Bring your PLUS ONE in their own Private Room

For some retreats, your loved one may have the option to sign up for their own room. Just fill out the registration form for the retreat you want to participate in. Have your friend fill out this application.

Weekly prices are listed in USD.
50% Deposit is required to secure your spot. 
Full tuition is due 30 days before arrival.
Rates refer to cost of one person’s weekly tuition.
